Spunând "Nu voia mea, ci a Ta".

în engleză ''nothing'' = no+thing însemnând ''niciun lucru'').
Și mereu am spus: "Asta-i bine.

Fii Asta.
~ Adyashanti

DIALOG CU ADYA:
Î: Vreau ceea ce ai vrut tu.
ADYA: Ce am vrut?
Î: Ai vrut să devii iluminat.
ADYA: Am vrut să devin iluminat. Bine. Asta nu a funcționat.
Î: Cel puțin ai devenit treaz?
ADYA: Nu. Trezirea a devenit trează.

ENG:
The only way you will ever awaken is through silence, not through analyzation of facts. Not by sorting out good and bad, but through simple silence, letting go. Letting go of all thoughts, all the hurts, all the dogmas and concepts.
Letting go of these things daily.
~ Robert Adams

Awakening is a direct experience. An instant experience. It happens. But prior to awakening comes a complete surrender. Not visions, not spiritual experiences but a total and complete surrender to the Self.
When I say it's a complete surrender, it's exactly what I mean. You surrender your entire life. This means all your problems, all the things you think are bothering you. All the good things, all the bad things. Everything is totally surrendered to the Self.
And as you're doing this you automatically become compassionate and have a tremendous amount of humility transpires within yourself.
Those are the three things that happen to you prior to awakening. There is a total surrender to God. Not certain things.
I know some of you like to surrender the bad things, forget about that. You just surrender totally and completely. The bad and good things are all part of the relative world. And the whole relative world has to be totally and completely surrendered. Totally given up.
Then a great compassion and a great humility will come by itself. You see we're not trying to do these things physically? We just let ourselves fall into the space where all these things happen by themselves.
And this comes from sitting in the silence. You see how all these things are connected to each other? As you sit in the silence without desire, without want, without trying to change bad for good. All of a sudden you will feel yourself surrendering. Surrendering all of your ego. The body-mind surrenders. Everything lets go. And you become the epitome of compassion. A tremendous humility wells up within you. When you can feel these things, the next step is to awaken totally.
~ Robert Adams

We may call it Consciousness, the Self, Absolute Reality. This is it. This is your real nature.
Feel that I am It, Pure Awareness. I have always been It. There never was a time when I was not It. The appearance of the body cannot fool me any longer. The world and all its manifestations cannot fool me any longer.
The universe with its planets and galaxies and solar systems cannot fool me any longer. I can see through these things to the Source. I can feel the Source because I am the Source. I have always been the Source. There never was a time when I was not.
As far as thoughts are conceded, they do not exist. They can no longer bother me or make life miserable. As far as others are concerned, there are no others. There is only the Source.
If I am That, so is everybody else. So is everything else. All is well.
~ Robert Adams

Question: Can you give an example of a right self-surrender attitude?
Robert Adams.: When you surrender you're surrendering the ego. The way this is done, is by looking at the world with humility. Looking at the world with love and peace. Saying to yourself, "Not my will but thine". Feeling that you have no will of your own any longer. You have no questions, you have no wants, you have no desires, you let them all melt in your heart. You leave it alone. You stop worrying, you stop fretting. You stop trying to accomplish things or to change things. By realizing there is a power greater than you. It's available to you right now. As you do this you're surrendering all of your wants, all of your needs, all of your fears, all of your stuff that you've been carrying on with all these years. You're surrendering it all. Everything must go, everything.

Think of how opinionated you are right now. You have your ways. You have your ideas, your opinions. You stick up for your rights. What rights? You're simply sticking up for your ego. You want the world to know this is me, and you're making a big mistake, because you're inflating the ego. The ego gets bigger and bigger and you think you're more important than anyone else.
So when you get on the spiritual path, many times life comes along and pulls the rug from under you. This is to make you understand that as a human being you're nothing. It doesn't mean a thing. This is why so many people tell me, "Robert, since I came to you things have gotten worse in my life." And always I say, "That's good. Now you're beginning to make progress." If humanly things got better would most of you take this path? Unfortunately not, let's face it. The only reason most people come into spiritual life is because usually their life is all screwed up. (students laugh) Am I wrong? And they're looking for answers, therefore that's good. The people who are not here, their life is all screwed up, but they don't know it yet. (students laugh) So you're ahead of the game.
~ Robert Adams

To pray to God really means to know all is well and everything is unfolding as should.
This is real prayer to know this. To trust it, to have faith in it, otherwise you're wasting your time.
You can't pray to God for something good to happen to you or to get rid of a situation that you have and when you finish praying you say, "Gee I hope God answers my prayers.''
You are negating the whole thing. You are one with God. Therefore, act as God would act.
God is, you are also. Stop being afraid, stop feeling sorry for yourself.
Know the truth. You are that which has always been which you will always be.
You were never born, you can never die, you are eternal.
You are consciousness, pure awareness, total freedom.

~ Robert Adams

Silence reveals itself only to itself. Only when we enter as nothing and stay as nothing, will silence open its secret. Its secret is itself. That's why I say all the words, all the books, all the teachings, and all the teachers can only get you to the door, and perhaps entice you to enter. Once there, you start to feel the presence of silence very powerfully.
When this happens, something spontaneously arises that's willing to enter it without being somebody. That is the sacred invitation.
Inside you find that silence is the final and ultimate teacher and the final and ultimate teaching. It's the only teacher that won't speak to you.
Silence is the only teacher and teaching that keeps our humanness on its knees all the time. With any other teaching or teacher, we find we can get up. We can think, "Oh, I heard Adya said dah-dah-dah, and it sounds good," and we find ourselves lifting up off the floor of surrender. We turn away from our most sacred and beautiful humility.
~ Adyashanti

Ego is the movement of the mind toward objects of perception in the form of grasping, and away from objects in the form of aversion. This fundamentally is all the ego is. This movement of grasping and aversion gives rise to a sense of a separate "me," and in turn the sense of "me" strengthens itself this way.
It is this continuous loop of causation that tricks consciousness into a trance of identification. Identification with what? Identification with the continuous loop of suffering. After all, who is suffering? The "me" is suffering. And who is this me? It is nothing more than a sense of self caused by identification with grasping and aversion.
You see, it's all a creation of the mind, an endless movie, a terrible dream. Don't try to change the dream, because trying to change it is just another movement in the dream.
Look at the dream. Be aware of the dream. That awareness is It.
Become more interested in the awareness of the dream than in the dream itself. What is that awareness? Who is that awareness? Don't go spouting out an answer, just be the answer.
Be It.

DIALOGUE WITH ADYA:
Q: I want what you wanted.
Adya: What did I want?
Q: You wanted to become enlightened.
Adya: I wanted to become enlightened. Ok. It didn’t work out.
Q: Did you at least become awake?
Adya: No. Awakeness became awake. Enlightenment becomes enlightened. The me, the little guy, little Steven Larry Gray, that meditated in his parent’s backyard for hours and hours a day, every single day, in the morning and the evening, and did nothing but do the good Buddhist thing, diligently, terribly, terribly disciplined, he didn’t get enlightened. He never made it. He never crossed the river of nirvana, it never happened to him.
What he did was, for whatever reason, maybe the seeking was necessary, is he got exhausted. It just completely exhausted itself. The little one that was trying to get awake and enlightened got so exhausted, so stricken by I can’t do this, I can’t, and I could no longer tell myself I can. That means the complete and utter destruction of denial. Because the denial is “I can”. And your experience keeps showing you “you can’t.”
And so I got so exhausted psychically, internally, emotionally, spiritually that I couldn’t keep it up anymore. And i had to see the truth. I was willing to see the truth only because I was exhausted. I can’t do it. And in that “I can’t do it,” and not as a spiritual strategy, emptiness woke up out of the seeker. The seeker didn’t wake up. Consciousness woke up from the seeker, from the personality, from the “me” that was trying so hard.
